I am writing this review incase anyone who has a fear of dental work is reading these reviews and trying to make a decision about choosing a dental surgery. I had really neglected my teeth and avoided the dentist, due to a serious fear and lack of trust, which stems from a bad experience a long time ago, but also, very poor experiences in more recent years. I reached a point where I could not ignore the problems anymore and, based off a recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment with Dame street Dental. At every point of the process I have experienced exceptional care and professionalism. But probably, the most noteworthy point, in my opinion, has been the kindness and compassion shown to me by everyone I have dealt with, when I have felt extremely anxious or worried. Anyone who has a fear of the dentist will understand the extent of trust required to commit to the process, and to put your trust in someone else’s hands. Id like to especially mention Dr Ranuoka who managed my fillings and extractions, and Dr Ahmed who has managed my implants. Also, the wonderful dental nurses who assisted them. Both Dr Ranuoka, and Dr Ahmed have experienced me crying and fearful, and both treated me with the utmost kindness, compassion and respect. Their understanding and reassuring natures, paved the way for me to proceed feeling safe and emotionally supported. I am eternally grateful to them both, as I am delighted with the outcome and not to be living with neglected teeth, which would ultimately cause me huge problems later in life if i continued to neglect them. I could not be happier with the work they have done, it’s just been a seamless process from start to finish. If you are in any way nervous, suffer from dental anxiety and have been putting off dental treatment, I would urge you to take the leap and try Dame Street Dental. They have been incredible throughout the whole process. I will add that, aside from the exceptional care I received, the surgery itself is a really pleasant experience. It’s spacious and modern, and doesn’t have that cold, clinical feel that many dental surgery’s have. Every one is warm and friendly, so in that sense, it’s a really nice environment. Highly recommend. Thank you to the team.

The dentists here are always great but the reception is hit or miss. I called to see if I could reschedule due to an orange weather warning without paying the cancellation fee, the receptionist told me she would ask the dentist and called me back. She called about 10 mins later and said that I would have to pay the cancellation fee. When I got to the dentist, she told me that she would have been happy to let me reschedule and no one has asked her, she had only seen it in my notes about an hour before the appointment. I am not pleased with being lied to, as the receptionist told me that the dentist told her this. Either she contacted a different dentist or she asked someone else at reception but regardless, it is not okay.

I had wisdom teeth extraction operation and the operation and healing process were amazing. Thank you! Ps. Only one thing, I had a problem with the medical certificate but they solved it in person quickly.
